

David leaves behind a legacy of devotion, service, and love that will be cherished by all who knew him. David dedicated his life to serving his country and his family. He carried that commitment with quiet strength throughout his life.
He served in the Navy for 2 years and went on to serve 20 years in the Air Force, becoming a Master Sergeant. Then he served as Post Master for the United States Postal Service for 17 years. He later retired earning the respect of those who knew him for his steady character, depending nature, and unwavering sense of duty. He approached every responsibility with care and pride. He was the kind of man that could always be counted on to do what needed to be done.
On October 2nd, 1951, David married the love of his life, Marjorie Brittain, and together they built a marriage grounded in faithfulness, companionship, and enduring love. Their love together was a testament to devotion and partnership. The years they shared were filled with family, hard work, and the simple joys that make life meaningful. Marjorie remained his closest companion through the seasons of life, and their bond was one that reflected the very best of life long commitment. David was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie E. Fultz; his daughter, Nancy Fultz-McKenzie; his son, John Fultz; his sister Mary Bunge; his grand children, Heather Keys, Shaun and Jessica Keys, Stacey and Austin Perkins, Richard Hedrick, Christine Fultz, and Ben Fultz; and his 10 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him great joy and pride.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Cubbage; his sister, Jane Stryfeller; his aunt, Opal Bloom; his uncle, Clyde Bloom; and his aunt, Ruth Beyer.
David had a wide range of interests and a genuine curiosity about the world around him. He found satisfaction in learning new skills and then sharing that knowledge with others, who regarded him as an encouraging and knowledgeable teacher. He also was a life member of the VFW, the Post Masters Association, the NRA, the American Legion, and many other organizations that reflected his interests and values. His memberships were more than titles to him. They were extension of his identity and a reflection of the principles he held dear, including service, loyalty, and fellowship.
David Fultz leaves behind a rich legacy of service, commitment, and family devotion that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His life was one of purpose and quiet honor and his memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration for years to come.
